Enterprise - We are; Press Ad

Following the briefing with Fred for the presentations, we were set a task to produce a press ad that would appear in Creative Review ready for the session with Jane next week. This was a great task to be able to finalise our plans as to what we want the studio to be and make them solid, as well as developing an identity for ourselves.

We sat together as a group developing this together as this is an important aspect of the brief to make sure that everyone is happy with what the identity because after all it is representing us all.

In terms of what sort of ad we would go for in Creative Review, we first need to get an idea on the prices. Sadie happily gave them a call and got them to send over the details of this which she shared with the group so that we didn't all keep calling up and eventually start to annoy them. The prices are as follows:



The prices of the ads are a lot more expensive than we anticipated them to be, but we have decided to just go all out and go for a full page ad. Here's the developments of what we did:










We chose to go with black and yellow to begin with purely because this is a colour combination that everyone likes. Even so, we changed the black to a dark grey instead as we prefer this. We went through the whole process of trying to get everything looking just right, and ended up with the yellow writing on grey and the opposite version of this with grey writing on yellow. We cannot actually choose between which one we prefer, so to help we printed out both versions and stuck them to the wall in the studio so we could take a step back and really analyse what we have and what really works with them both - as well as asking other people opinions on them as well.
