Enterprise - We are: Location Pt 2

Back during the group workshop with Jane she mentioned about 'hot desking' where you basically rent office space for a certain period of time to use for what ever you need to with the business. We are all really keen on this idea as it will help to reduce the price of our initial start up costs a lot as we wont have to be considering the cost of furniture and everything else, so we can start up with less money spent on things that we really need to start up with, then purchase additional things as the money starts coming in. We figured it would be ideal to hot desk for up to 18 months into the business to allow us to properly prepare ourselves for moving into our own office space.


Old Broadcasting House

The Old Broadcasting House is located just on the edge of the city center near the Universities, which is quite an ideal location. The price of a monthly membership is 90PP + VAT, and this includes everything in the price from the space through to the equipment and software we would need. This is great as it reduces the initial start up costs even more as we wont have to purchase the software and macs straight away. It has been decided that we will use this place for hot desking as it is pretty much ideal for what we are wanting and is cheap. We have decided that we will still get one studio mac and software as well as using the ones available here so that if something urgent did come up it would always be available to use outside of the times that we are in the space to get things done.
