I find it very difficult to see anything wrong with this typeface. You've clearly drawn inspiration from my inspirations- which gives it a personal touch, which is what its supposed to have. It is simple yet effective, and I think that's the main reason I like it so much.
My only criticism would be that perhaps the 'J' letterform is slightly ambiguous. -both in lower and upper case. However I can't think of a solution that would keep the consistency. Maybe in the lower case add an area of solid black?
Apart from that I think you've represented me pretty much perfectly (according to your adjectives- which of course were up to you) -so well done. I love it, I think its got a real professional finish to it that very few managed to achieve.
